Porcupine Meatballs

No, these don’t contain porcupines…. They are so called because of the rice added to the meatballs.

Mix together, and form into balls. Brown the meatballs in a deep-edged pan.
1 lb. ground beef
1/2 cup uncooked rice
1/2 cup water
1/2 onion, chopped
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. celery salt
1/4 tsp. black pepper
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1 Tbsp. brown sugar

Mix together:
1 15 oz can tomato sauce
2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce

Pour over the meatballs and simmer for about an hour to fully cook the rice in the meatballs.
