Lemon Blueberry Cake

On Friday I thought it was time to try something new to me in way of cakes and settled on Lemon Blueberry Layer Cake from Sally’s Baking Addiction. She has lovely photos and clear instructions for the cake on her website . I decided to make a 9×13 cake instead of the layer cake to make it easier to transport over gravel roads. (Arriving with a cake that had been bounced apart was not appealing.) This is a rather heavy cake, like a pound cake, and has nice lemon and blueberry flavour. It took about 40 minutes to finish baking in the 9×13 pan.
