I was inspired by Pinterest cinnamon bread twists and thought I would make a seasonal twist of my own. I had a jar of mincemeat and some cherries and thought they would go well with orange.
I used a half recipe of my Orange Bun dough, rolled it out, spread it with 2 Tbsp. of butter, 1 cup of mincemeat, 1/2 cup of candied cherries and 2 Tbsp. of brown sugar.
Cut the log in half lengthways.
Twist the halves together over each other. Bake at 375 degrees F for 30 minutes. Voila. This is one of those recipes where it looks like you worked much harder than you did. Haha
Looks brilliant, and yes it does look more elaborate than it really is, which is also a bonus!
