A dear friend and I have made these cookies together every Christmas for the last 33 years. Each year, we pick a date, 4-6 kinds of cookies to make and organize ourselves to have Cookie Day. We vary the kinds we make, but we make these ones EVERY year. There would be multi-generational revolt if we did not. 🙂
