Day 5 Baking Week
I tried the Lemon Tea Cakes from One Perfect Bite and they are lovely! The cakes taste very much like the pound cake I make with lemon juice and sugar glaze, but the cake is much lighter. It is very pleasant indeed. I tried a new flower-shaped muffin pan and a couple of my small heart pans for these cakes. I overfilled the flower pans. They would have looked better smaller, but the heart-shaped pans worked very well. I think I would just use these next time, and there will be a next time! Light, little, and lemony and luscious. Oh yes!
