Stella’s and the Sugar Shack

Vulcan is a small town in Alberta, famous for its relationship with the Star Trek series. They have Trekcetera which is a Star Trek museum, they hold Spock Days every year. Quite a few actors from the series have visited the town. I will do a post on the museum tomorrow, but here are two great little shops on main street. I love the mural of Spock serving candy.

The building is divided into two brightly coloured spaces. The candy store is well stocked. My favourite section was the wall of Jelly Belly candies. Stella’s is the café. I included the blurry photo as well, so you can get a sense of the place. My daughter and her friend loved the swivel stools and the milkshakes.
