I thought I’d better catch up with my “early June” garden photos before it is July! This are some of my favourites from late May to first week in June. Above is one of the 7 false spirea shrubs we planted last year. I absolutely LOVE the combination of colours with the bright, pale green and the pink/peach. I consider them a garden victory!

Muscari – the deer ended up eating the leave but left the flowers alone!!!!! Victory again.

This is my first year growing dahlias. These purple/pink ones I bought as bedding out plants. I also started some from tubers, but they are not at the blooming stage yet. Patience!
The name of these eludes me, but I enjoy the beautiful blue show every spring.
