Last week a friend and I drove to Lethbridge to pick her uncle’s grapes. This was a new experience for me and I am always excited to learn how things are grown. They have vines older than us, and every inch of the garden is growing something beautiful or tasty.
We picked quite a few and made jelly and juice from them. Despite fighting losing battles with pectin (I have something more resembling jello than jelly), there are 15 jars of sweet jelly, and 7 of spiced jelly.
