Green Pea Salad

This is a recipe my aunt used to make many years ago. I forgot about it for a number of years and recently found it in one of my Grandma’s church cookbooks.
I took this photo when the salad was still frozen, so the dressing is just sitting on top, but it blends in better once the peas thaw.

2 cups frozen peas
1/4 red onion, minced
1 cup of cheddar cheese, diced
1/3 cup Miracle Whip
a good dash of Worcestershire sauce
salt and pepper to taste

Mix ingredients together and wait for the peas to thaw before serving. It is a good salad to take on a picnic as it starts out frozen so stays cold for a good while.
