Tamarind 

We visited the Tamarind restaurant in north east Calgary this weekend. It was a new find in our list of favourite Indian restaurants, and it turned out to be a jewel. It was nicely decorated, provided the best service we have enjoyed in a long time, and YES, had delicious food. We tried the butter chicken, coconut rice, aloo gobi, naan, and chai. We left wishing we would have gone with more people so we could have tried more of their menu. We rarely make it that far north, but it is on the GPS for a return visit if we go up that way again. If you are in the area, pay them a visit!
