My daughter and I recently spent an afternoon wandering around Nanton poking around in the many antique shops there. Sentimental Journey is our favourite shop because it has such a large selection, and also because it is a rabbit warren of little arched rooms upstairs, making shopping feel like an adventure. The building used to be a hardware store and the upstairs was originally apartments, which explains the charm of the place. Much of the stock is reasonably priced, and inventory ranges from antique fire fighter helmets to stained glass windows, china of all sorts, sheet music, jewelry, furniture, as well as tools and other basic items homesteaders used. The staff are friendly and welcoming and the whole experience is a treat. Here is the link to their website.
wow, that’s a wonderful shop to spend a whole day
