Waterfall Valley, Bowmont Park

One of the things I like about Calgary is all the green spaces and parks there are to walk in. This outing was the Waterfall Valley in Bowmont Natural Environment Park .

A boardwalk is one of the trail options here
Several little springs and waterfalls trickle down the hills toward the Bow River
You can also leave the boardwalk and take some less-used trails
The mountains were barely distinguishable from the clouds on this overcast day
Lots of wildflowers at the moment and some big bees too
I love the light spring green colour when the leaves first emerge

From here, we connected with the main pathway along the river and headed towards Dale Hodges Park, which I will cover in a separate blog.
