Cat Cuddles

Here is our old cat, Thomas, curled into the crook of my elbow. When he was a kitten, I moaned to my sister-in-law that he never wanted to cuddle. She told me to wait until he got older – kittens have little time for cuddling. Now that he is 14 years old, that is all he wants to do! After dinner, the family usually disperses to do whatever activity appeals. Thomas watches us all and then trots off after the one who is sitting on a sofa or cozy chair. If there is a blanket involved, all the better. If no one looks inclined to sit, he follows us around and meows until someone gets the message. Cuddle companion required!!
