Blackberry Port

My husband’s sister and brother-in-law make a variety of alcohols at home. They recently completed a blackberry port and gave us a bottle with instructions to let it sit a couple months. Last week we got a call saying “open it outside, quickly, ours re-fermented and blew the corks! On the upside, it is delicious.” I took a photo to show that my husband escaped the opening with all this fingers intact ūüôā
To our delight we found the port to be fruity, smooth, fragrant, and fantastically flavourful. In short: Very Fine!
