After having tried the almond croissant from the Black Sheep Patisserie’s main location, there were a few other items that looked interesting as well. As their location in the Calgary Farmer’s Market West is closer to us, we stopped by to try the raspberry and blueberry croissants (with the intriguing stripes and generous filling), and the pain au chocolat. The pain au chocolat has less chocolate than some bakeries, but I found it had good favour and held its own balancing the buttery pastry taste. We have come to the conclusion that you can’t go wrong with this bakery, and anything they make is worth a taste. Two thumbs ups.
