Happy Summer Solstice! Just a few shots of the beautiful skies and a few wildflowers from yesterday’s walk. June might be my favourite month of the year. Although spring technically comes in April, it is not until late May and early June that our leaves start to re-appear after winter. June is also our rainy month, so everything is green and lush still before the scalding heat of summer. The flowering shrubs and trees have their moment in June as well.
