Succulents

My daughters and I like succulent plants – they are so cute! Our bigger pots are starting to fill in (above), so we decided to take some of the small offshoots and make a succulent terrarium for a birthday gift. If they already have roots, you can just plant them directly. If you are starting new ones from leaves, let them sit 3-4 days to seal over the end and then place them on damp soil. You need to keep it consistently damp to start a new plant.

Letting the cut ends seal over.

Containers and a few small stones. Add soil to the bottom of the container. Add the plants and carefully surround them with small stones.
