Scala restaurant served us this fantastic sundae that I will try to recreate at some point. It contained basil gelato, strawberry sorbet, vanilla ice cream, cookie bits and was topped with a strawberry rhubarb sauce. So, so good. The basil gelato now holds number 1 status in my list of favourite frozen treats. Have I said it was good? Yes. (The dinner itself was really flavourful and well-prepared, but it was the dessert that blew my mind).
