This is my “go to” short rib recipe. Easy and tasty.
Sticky Asian Short Ribs
1 cup soy sauce
1 cup brown sugar
4 T sesame oil
4 T rice vinegar
4 T minced fresh ginger (OR 1 tsp. ground ginger)
1 head of garlic, peeled and minced (OR 1 tsp. garlic powder)
1 tsp. red pepper flakes
short ribs (7-8 ribs)
Mix soy sauce, sugar, oil, vinegar, ginger, garlic and red pepper in a small bowl. Place ribs in a casserole and pour sauce over them. Cover and cook at 350 degrees F for 3-4 hours. You are aiming for fall off the bones meat covered in a sticky sauce. Make sure to check liquid level in the pot. If there is too much liquid, remove the lid for 30 minutes. If the pot is getting dry, add a bit of water.
