Happy New Year and Top Five of 2017

Happy New Year! I hope you all had a restful/exciting/happy holiday season. It got pretty cold here in December (-42 wind chill) so we cozied up with books, blankets and a cat or two for much of the time. We managed visits with everyone though, and ate a lot of feast foods so it felt like we “did Christmas up right”.

The new year is often a time for reflection, and as I was reviewing my blog stats from last year,  I thought it might be fun to see which posts were most viewed. It occurred to me that you might also be interested in seeing the list. You can click on the title if you would like to visit the post.  Some of the posts were published in previous years, but were still being viewed. Here are the top five:

Since I first published this in 2014, it has been the most viewed post every year.

A special occasion dessert made with cream, eggs and sherry.

A versatile family pleaser. Change the fruit to anything you like.
