Living in the foothills as we do, we don’t often get a chance to enjoy fresh fish. When we holiday near any kind of coast, we seek out fresh seafood and eat our fill. Tonight we enjoyed fish tacos at Red Fish Blue Fish, which is a little stand on Wharf Street in Victoria, British Columbia. I had the Pacific cod with smoked chipotle sauce and coleslaw in a tortilla. My husband had two of the Jerk Fish which as salmon, cod, tuna and halibut cooked in Caribbean Jerk Sauce. One Fish, two Fish, Red Fish Blue Fish. Haha.
Jerk Fish
Cod Tacone – it tasted fresh, was battered with a light tempura coating, and the coleslaw and chipotle made for interesting texture and a little heat. Different and enjoyable.
They have a couple nice seating areas where you can look out into the inner harbour as you enjoy your dinner. Cheers!
