Cheese Ball

A cheese ball is a party standard when it comes to appetizers . Here is a simple one. I made one ball rolled in pecans, and another smaller one rolled in green onions for the nut-free crowd.

250 g cream cheese, softened
2 green onions, sliced
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. paprika
1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/2 cup cheddar cheese, grated
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/4 cup pecans, chopped (Those with nut allergies can roll the cheese ball in sliced green onions instead.)

Mix everything together, except the pecans.

Place mixture on plastic wrap and form a ball. Refrigerate until firm.

Remove the wrap and roll the ball in pecans. Serve with crackers.
