Amaryllis flowers are big and bold, making a welcome splash of colour on white, wintry days. Four of my six bulbs have bloomed, starting the week before Christmas. They really outdid themselves with number of blooms this year. Amaryllis are particularly rewarding as they grow an inch or so per day when they emerge from the bulb. A green fix for gardeners in winter.

The Amaryllis is beautiful! Mine is just starting to open…not even sure what color it is yet! The stock grew to be almost 1.5′! Ill send a picture once I see more…
