I love these murals painted on the E.I.D. building in Brooks, Alberta. They really represent the character of the town and surrounding area, and are pieces of publicly displayed art that feel “right”.
Sailing on Lake Newell (a man-made lake), and pheasants from the hatchery.
Stooks of wheat, and flood irrigation in a field.
Children pictured looking down at the sluice gates.
Sprinklers and deer.
Oil jacks, pronghorns, cattle, and harvesting with a combine.
A rancher with his cattle, and a canal.
