One of my sisters-in-law is good at ferreting out mushrooms. Her photos range from colourful beauties to earthy looking little lumps. All unique and interesting. This is a photo she sent to me, identified as Western Amethyst Laccaria (Laccaria amethysteo-occidentalis). I love the colour, the vantage point and the background of her photograph.
