On the Family Day long weekend, we decided to explore a new-to-us independent book shop in Calgary. Shelf Life Books located at 1302 4 ST. SW is easy to spot on the street and has a light and inviting interior. They have a nice mix of new releases and beautiful editions of classic books. The book shelves are nicely spaced out and they have created attractive displays of prints, notebooks and notecards, puzzles and games. Staff was friendly but not intrusive – what more could you want? Support a local business and treat yourself to a browse!
