If I did this again, I would skip the loop and do it as an in-out hike to avoid having to walk along the highway on the last part of the loop. It is more of a stroll through aspen forest and flowery meadows. Enjoyable, though not many mountain views.

J > Wonderful photos, and as we’re going through an unseasonal grey few days, I crave the sunshine. Like you, I find a stretch of road walking, especially at the end of a hike, leaves a stain on the memories for the day.
