My younger daughter painted her room with her friends last week. The room looks great, but had a couple “oops” areas on the popcorn ceiling that needed to be addressed. I turned to the internet to find loads of different ideas and basically decided to try something and see what happened. We had some really nice primer in the basement, so I taped the wall and daubed the primer onto the ceiling with a foam brush. It worked better than I dared hope!
An “oops” area.
Daubing with foam brush.
Only one coat required! Remove the tape…
Looking good! You can’t see where the original white begins (8 years old), and the primer covers. It looks to be the same texture/no shine/finish as well. Our work here is done!
Thanks! Awesome tip!
