This is an appetizer meatball that has been around since the 70’s and is always a hit. Can’t be any simpler to make.
Meatballs
1 lb. ground beef
1/2 cup dry bread crumbs
1/2 tsp. salt
3/4 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. onion powder
Combine ingredients and form into balls. Bake in a preheated 350 degree F oven for 15-20 minutes.
Sauce
1 cup ketchup
1 cup grape jelly (I used the spiced grape jelly I made earlier this fall)
1-2 tsp. sriracha (or you could keep it traditional with chili flakes)
1 tsp. dried mustard
1 Tbsp. brown sugar
Combine in saucepan and gently heat on stovetop until the jelly is melted and sauce is uniform.
Pour sauce over the meatballs.
