Provençal Sugar Scrub

I was in the mood for a new scrub, and was inspired by my sister-in-law and her homemade lotions and potions. I decided to do something that reminds me of Provence, and lavender fit the bill. I had lavender buds leftover from making my Lavender Lemon Shortbread a while back, and it was calling to me!

I am pleased with the result and, as with most scrubs, it is entirely simple to make.

Ingredients:
1/2 cup white sugar
2 Tablespoons olive oil
1/4 teaspoon lavender buds, ground

I ground the lavender buds somewhat with my mortar and pestle, added them to the sugar, and mixed the oil into it. Very simple. Heavenly aroma.
