I received a bag of these homemade Dutch treats called stroopwafels as a Christmas present. They are crispy waffle wafers with a caramel filling. Very nice indeed.

My Dutch pal in Hong Kong got me hooked. Luckily we have a wee Dutch shop here in Duncan. Yay! I’ve only had store bought. Now I’m drooling. 😋
