I so enjoyed this movie. French food, Indian food, family, tradition, love, beautiful scenery, nice music, well-cast actors and a bit of competition. This is a fantastic movie and my favourite of the year so far.
The basic premise is an Indian family of restaurateurs setting up shop in France across the street from a French restaurant with a Michelin star. The “hundred-foot journey” is the distance across the road between them, though the distance between the proprietors is a chasm.
