The Calgary Zoo has some amazing topiaries around the Conservatory building and Dorothy Harvey Gardens this summer. Called WildScapes, they are animal-shaped frames covered in vibrant plant materials to form living plant art in the images of animals. For me, the conservatory and gardens are the highlight of a summer visit, and they have really outdone themselves with the addition of this art installation. Fabulous!
Here are some shots of what is in store for your next visit!
