Luminaries

My friends and I made 36 of these to be table centerpieces at a banquet we hosted. They looked really festive and were relatively simple and inexpensive to make. At the end of the post is a link to a YouTube video that gives the instructions. The only things we did differently were: 1) we sprinkled the salt on the mod podge (it stayed on better than rolling it in salt), and 2) we sprayed the salted jars with a clear glaze to keep the salt from coming off with the friction of packing them.
