My camera has been having trouble focussing where there is a lot of shadow and light. I like the look it gave me in the dark with just the light above the oven though. It actually makes the colour of the flowers more vibrant. My amaryllis has finished blooming, but I brought in two pots of the tulips I have been forcing in the garage this winter. They are green and up about 5 cm, so hopefully I’ll have more blooms to photograph in a couple weeks. The house always looks a little bit stark in the absence of Christmas decorations, so it is the perfect time to watch things grow.
