I am attracted to tea towels and have been since I was very young, washing dishes with my grandma. I love the way the fabric feels in my hands, and enjoy the beautiful designs of places, animals, flowers and landscapes and art. Rotating the active part of my towel collection every few months adds variety to an everyday task in a simple way.
Each time my husband and I visited his Mom in the UK, I came home with one or two of these, and she sent several in the mail after observing my affinity for them. I really enjoy using them.
The ones below are in the current rotation.
They are basic, useful items, and having pretty designs on them makes me smile as I work.
Nice to see Rennie Macintosh in there or rather his wife Margaret MacDonald! Have to admit I gather tea-towels too π

Yes, it is one of my favourites. I also have a couple featuring William Morris designs that are unusual.
