I love living in the foothills. The skies are big and blue, the land is gently hilled, coloured green, yellow, blue or brown, depending on the crop. The mountains provide a beautiful backdrop and there are always animals to look at. Cheer indeed. I know other places have fabulous architecture, beaches, forests and other scenic views that I enjoy visiting, but there is a strength in this land that I don’t feel anywhere else. Or, maybe it is here that I find my strength, because it is home.
