Rainy Day Crafting

We had a couple rainy afternoons last week, so I decided to do a little rainy day crafting. I made a new centerpiece for the table, and a couple necklaces.

I started with a wooden box that can be filled with apples, lemons, pumpkins, Christmas balls, etc. according to the season, and bought a few silk flowers at Michael’s to make something that doesn’t need tending. I wanted purples to pick up the purples I have going on in the living room this summer. I’m pretty pleased with the result.

I’ve had these stones for a month or so and decided it was a good opportunity to make them wearable. More purple…I know, I am on a purple bender.
